Sunflower Shower

We had a great time 'showering' the lovely bride to be Robyn a couple weekends ago. Her sisters we're unable to make it in from out of state, so we surprised the bride with video messages from them which we played on a large projector screen. They had us all tearing up~ We're so excited for her and her wedding in October!
Enjoy~

Buffaloes Buffaloes, GO CU!

Inspired by the start of college football season...okay okay, inspired by CU's WIN against in-state rival CSU just a few hours ago. Enjoy.

Attach a charm to your bouquet...How about these for your groomsmen...

Did I mention GO BUFFS?!

New England Inspired

Whether you grew up near the rocky beaches of Maine, the woods of inland, or surrounded by lobster trap buoys, the opportunities to include a bit of New England flair into your wedding are endless. Rock candy favors, buoy decor (how cool would it be to attach lobster buoy's to the back of the bride and groom's car instead of soda cans?!), lobster bib save-the-dates (we absolutely LOVE these). Not to mention all that you can do with your wedding stationery suite!

Be inspired.

The Beauty of History...New England Style!

Hands down, New England is one of my absolute favorite places in the world. 'Wicked' amazing some may say ;) While attending a family reunion at the end of July, I couldn't help but relish in all of the history treasured by this part of the country. The architecture and beauty of Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine is simply unmatchable. Such should be the same for your wedding. Relish in the history of you each as individuals, as well as a couple and never allow your wedding or event to become so traditional that your personalities are left behind. Many of us are invited to numerous weddings per year; Which ones do you remember? Why do they stand out? Because they are unique. They are unique, memorable and UNMATCHABLE because they incorporate the history and personalities of the couple, plain and simple. The patriotism in New England is incredible. Embrace your heritage and don't be afraid to incorporate that into your wedding.Do you have a favorite landmark? Remember that when planning.

Stay tuned tomorrow for ways to incorporate these elements :)

Congrats Anna & Kyle!

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Anna to create a picture perfect image for her, her 'maids, flower girls and the mothers of the bride and groom. After being immersed in a cloud of hairspray and makeup dust for much of the day, these ladies looked absolutely beautiful and they were all a true joy to work with. As icing on the cake, Jenni Maroney Photography was there to capture it all and we couldn't recommend her enough. I think the photo's speak for themselves! Thanks Anna and Jenni.

Special THANKS to Emily at Paper Moss. Again, check them out www.papermoss.com. I promise they will not disappoint.

Wish it. Dream it. Do it.

When I was little, parties were a BIG deal. There had to be cake, there had to be decorations and nice presentation, there had to be favors, music, good food and fun drinks, but most importantly everything had to match. It wasn't uncommon for me to present a theme to my parents for approval. When I say approval, I really mean an okay to go shopping (and a ride). I was no doubt high maintenance when it came to these events..."no I can't get the cheap plates because they're a different color than what my theme allows", "no I can't get those favors because they don't go with my theme and who needs another cheap bracelet and pair of star shaped sunglasses anyway?", "Yes, I HAVE to have black stem champagne glasses -at 13- because they complete my table set-up, it's New Years Eve, it's a dress up party and we HAVE to have a toast with fake champagne and NO other glasses or cups will do." I may not have consciously known it then, but I was destined for a career in the event planning industry. It's the memorable parties of my childhood paired with my undeniable creativity that got me where I am today. After years of planning and a number of setbacks, I proudly announce the official launch of Cassandra Rose Event Consultants. I couldn't be happier or more excited for all that is in store.
